The Hidden Genius Within You: How One Small Shift Can 10x Your Impact

There’s a reason I’m reading 10x is Easier than 2x for the fourth time—this time with my mastermind. Every time I revisit it, something new clicks. It’s like a mirror for where I am in my own evolution. And this time, it hit differently. Not because I didn’t understand it before, but because I’m now living it.

Dan Sullivan’s premise is simple: Most people try to grow incrementally. They work a little harder, do a little more, and maybe get twice the result. But that path is crowded, exhausting, and full of diminishing returns. The 10x path? It demands that you let go of 80% of what you’ve been doing and focus entirely on the 20% that’s truly unique to you. Your genius. Your edge. Your calling.

When I first read this, I understood it intellectually. It made sense. I could see how others might apply it. But it wasn’t until I began stripping away all the “shoulds” in my own business, the programs that didn’t feel right anymore, the ways of marketing that weren’t aligned, the strategies that mimicked others instead of following my own intuition, that I really began to embody it.

10x growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing you, fully and unapologetically. It’s about mastery, and more specifically, optimizing your unique ability—that one thing you do better than anyone else in the world. For me, that’s being able to see the tiny tweaks in someone’s work or mindset that create exponential shifts when applied. It’s a gift I didn’t even recognize as a genius at first. It felt natural. Too easy, maybe. But over time, I started seeing the pattern. I see what others can't.

Clients would come to me stuck, either paralyzed by too many ideas or overwhelmed by underperforming ones. I’d ask the right questions, pull out a few golden threads, and help them reframe, restructure, or reposition something small. And suddenly… momentum. Not the kind of momentum you push for, but the kind that pulls you forward. That’s 10x energy. And it’s real.

The funny thing is, most people can’t see their own genius. They’re too close to it. Or they’ve been conditioned to believe that success only comes from struggle, from proving something, from grinding it out. But I’ve learned, and teach, that alignment is the true multiplier. When you’re fully operating from your unique ability, things start to feel both easier and more powerful. There’s no wasted energy. No second-guessing. Just clarity, velocity, and impact.

In my own journey, I had to let go of a lot to find that alignment. I had to say no to projects that were profitable but draining. I had to walk away from “safe” structures in order to create my own. I had to trust that what I was building—the Soul Professional Movement, the Business School, the Collective, the work I do one-on-one—wasn’t just another business model. It was the model that only I could deliver, because it’s built around my unique lens and life experience.

And once I embraced that? Everything changed. The results my clients were getting amplified. The right people started finding me more easily. I felt more energized, more in flow, and more fulfilled. That’s what happens when you stop trying to be everything and instead focus on being radically excellent at one thing.

What I love about 10x is Easier than 2x is that it gives permission to focus deeply. To choose mastery over multitasking. To create more by doing less but doing it better. This isn’t just a productivity hack. It’s a soul strategy. And it resonates so deeply with the way I work and lead.

The people who come to me are often high-achievers. Smart, capable, and already successful by most standards. But something’s missing. They feel stuck, unsure, or secretly unfulfilled. They’ve outgrown their old definitions of success but haven’t fully stepped into the new ones. They sense that more is possible, but can’t quite see how to get there.

That’s where I come in. My gift is helping them see what they can’t see yet. Sometimes it’s a belief that needs to shift. Sometimes it’s a business model that needs realignment. Sometimes it’s simply permission to dream bigger, charge more, simplify, or lead in a more soulful way. Whatever it is, the change is rarely massive. But the result always is.

That’s the paradox of 10x. The shift that changes everything often looks small from the outside. It might be a single decision. A new way of saying something. A different way of packaging a service. But when that shift is aligned with your unique ability and your true purpose, it activates a ripple effect. Suddenly you’re not just making changes. You’re becoming the person you were meant to be.

I see this over and over in my work. A client tweaks their offer and goes from crickets to consistent sales. Another repositions their messaging and finally attracts their ideal clients. Someone else finally owns their voice and is invited to speak on the stages they once only dreamed of. And it all starts with clarity on what makes them unique, valuable, and ready to lead.

The truth is, I didn’t always value this skill in myself. I thought everyone could see the patterns I saw. I thought my ability to hold space, ask strategic questions, and deliver intuitive guidance was just “normal.” It took years of reflection, feedback, and refinement to realize that this is my zone of genius and that by standing fully in it, I help others discover theirs.

So now, that’s what I do full time. Whether through my Accelerator, a private session, or a strategic deep dive, I help people and businesses find the small shifts that unlock their biggest breakthroughs. I help them 10x, not by giving them more to do, but by helping them strip away everything that’s not truly them. Because that’s where the magic is.

This path isn’t for everyone. Some people will always prefer the safety of incremental growth. But for those of us who know we’re here to lead something bigger, to create a movement, to build a legacy, to live in full expression, 10x isn’t just a goal. It’s a calling. It’s a way of being.

If you’re reading this and feeling a little tug in your chest, a knowing that you’re meant for more, that you’re ready for your next chapter, trust that. It’s not about throwing away everything you’ve built. It’s about refining it until what remains is unmistakably you. That’s the real work. And it’s where everything begins to align.

So the question isn’t whether 10x is possible. It’s whether you’re ready to choose it. Because once you do, you’ll never look at growth the same way again.
